[ LTO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 93-164, January 11, 1993 ]
REGISTRATION OF IMPORTED MOTOR VEHICLES
To strictly enforce the provisions of Republic Act No. 4136, as amended, otherwise known as the Land Transportation on Traffic Code, particularly on the registration of imported motor vehicles, and to ensure that compensating taxes and custom duties are duly collected by the government, all concerned are hereby directed, that henceforth, all imported motor vehicles should be registered only after the confirmation is made by the LTO Registration Section, East Avenue, Quezon City.
Moreover, all imported motor vehicles shall be registered only at LTO Diliman District Office.
This Circular supersedes Memorandum Circular No. 92-150 dated 14 February 1992, and takes effect immediately.
Violation of this Circular shall be ground for disciplinary action.
