MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 92-006 AS AMENDED BY MEMO CIRCULAR NOS. 92-006-A AND 92-006-B
For the information of all concerned and in order to allay the fears of provincial bus operators regarding the required measurements of commercial/business name as embodied in above subject memo, quoted hereunder is a Memorandum dated 29 December 1992 issued by Chairman Dante M. Lantin of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) clarifying the matter which is self-explanatory:

"In this regard, it is the position of the Board that the specifications/dimensions mentioned in the Memorandum Circular should not be literally interpreted as to cause apprehension among PUB operators, but should be construed liberally provided that substantial compliance is apparent, enabling the riding public to easily and readily identify the units from reasonable distance, with the name of the bus company and license plate number painted on both sides and at the back of the unit."For information, guidance and compliance.
