The present system in the stock reporting of the Manufacturers, Assemblers, Importers and Dealers requires the issuance of the Certificates of Stock Reported (CSR). CSR is issued only once for one (1) unit of engine or chassis or motor vehicle to the accredited manufacturers, assemblers and importers. The issuance of prooflists to accredited dealers for local purchase is allowed for the transfer of stocks from the manufacturer, assembler or importer to the accredited dealer.

In view hereof and to establish uniformity in the system, the CSR or the prooflist as the case maybe is one of the requirements in the registration of a motor vehicle.
