Paragraph 7 of DAO No. 7, Series of 1990, which provides:

"Locally manufactured and imported products with labels currently using both metric and non-metric units shall be allowed until December 1990.  Thereafter the use of these dual markings on labels will no longer be allowed" is hereby deleted.

Upon effectivity of this Order, manufacturers and importers are hereby allowed to use dual markings (i.e. metric with non-metric units) in expressing measurements, provided that the measurements are consistent with Metrication Circulars (MCs) or guidelines issued by BPS.

This Order shall take effect immediately upon publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation.
