Quoted hereunder is HLURB Board Resolution No. R-845, Series of 2009, Requiring Clearance from the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) for Projects Under Community Mortgage Program (CMP) and from the National Housing Authority (NHA) for Projects Covered by Its Housing Program Prior to Registration of Such Homeowners Association, which was approved by the Board on 31 July 2009:

WHEREAS, a number of homeowners associations located in areas covered by the housing program of the National Housing Authority (NHA) or the community mortgage program under the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) have been able to register with the Board without any coordination with NHA or SHFC;

WHEREAS, for purposes of consistency of shelter agency positions, there is a need to coordinate with the NHA or the SHFC to determine whether said associations applying for registration are in good standing with the said agencies;

WHEREFORE, resolved as it is hereby resolved that clearance from the Social Housing Finance Corporation or from the National Housing Authority, be required prior to registration of such homeowners associations.
