E-ADVERTISEMENT POSTED THRU AGENCY'S OWN WEBSITES OR WEBSITES OF PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS, ASSOCIATIONS OR FEDERATION OF LICENSED AGENCIES
In view of the growing emergence of recruitment and posting of job vacancies through the electronic medium, otherwise known as internet, and more job seekers or applicants find it more convenient to search for overseas jobs using the internet and similar electronic network, licensed agencies may advertise for their job vacancies thru their own websites of thru the websites of their private organizations, associations or federations without prior approval from the POEA, subject to existing POEA Rule on Advertisement for Overseas Jobs which is hereby adopted as likewise applicable to e-advertisement being functionally similar to the printed or paper-based advertisement.
I. E-Advertisement for Actual Job Vacancies. Licensed agencies may advertise for actual job vacancies without prior approval from the Administration if covered by manpower requests of registered/accredited foreign principals and projects. The advertisement shall indicate the following information:
1. Name, address and POEA license number of the agency;
2. Work site of foreign principal/project;
3. Skill categories and qualifications standards; and
4. Number of available positions.
II. E-Advertisement for Manpower Pooling. Licensed agencies may advertise for manpower pooling without prior approval from the Administration subject to the following conditions:
1. The advertisement should indicate in bold letters that it is for manpower only and that no fees will be collected from the applicants; and
2. The advertisement indicates the name, address and POEA licensed number of the agency, name and work site of the principal.
It is understood that it is the members-agencies that undertake the recruitment and post e-advertisement for employment abroad, and shall assume full and complete responsibility for all acts of its officials, employees, and representatives done in connection with e-advertisement. The private organization, association or federation hosting the e-advertisement is not allowed to accept applicants in behalf of the licensed recruitment agency.
