FAKE LUNCHEON MEAT "MALING" BRAND
Attached is a faxed copy of clipping relayed by the SGS, Manila Liaison Office re: the seizure of fake Luncheon Meat "Maling" Brand by Customs Officers in Hongkong believed made from diseased pigs mixed with internal organs.
The information is intended to alert Philippine Customs on the existence of such fake products. It appears that the fakes bear only stamp on top of the tin while the genuine product bears a pictorial trademark with English and Chinese wording.
