AMENDMENT ON IMPORT RESTRICTIONS OF BELGIAN PRODUCTS COVERED BY AO 29 SERIES OF 1999
In view of the latest Commission Decision 1999/551/EC which amends Decision 1999/449/EC, AO 29 is hereby amended to allow polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) analysis for products covered by AO 23. Products in transit shall be released only if the total levels of appropriate PCB congeners do not exceed the following limits set by the EC:
Further, Belgian products on hold at the South Harbor and the Manila International Container Port, and the released goods on hold in cold storage facilities shall be released only upon presentation of test results conducted by the responsible Belgian authorities, duly authenticated by the Philippine Agriculture Attach in Brussels, Belgium.
