Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 572, which reserved certain parcels of public land of the public domain in Barangay Apokon, Tagum City, Davao del Norte, Island of Mindanao as permanent site of the Davao Regional Hospital by granting ownership thereof in favor of RP-DOH, which parcel of land is particularly described as follows:

A PARCEL OF LAND (Lot No. 595-A, Swo-11-000665), being a portion of Lot No. 595, Cad-276, Tagum Cadastre, situated in the Barangay Apokon, City of Tagum, Province of Davao del Norte, Island of Mindanao. Bounded on the Northeast along line 4-5 by Lot No. 595-C of the subdivision plan; on the Southeast along lines 5-6-7-8 by Lot No. 595-C of the subdivision plan; on the Southwest along line 8-9 by Lot No. 595-C and along line 9-1 by Lot No. 595-B, all of the subdivision plan; on the Northwest along lines 1-2-3 by Lot No. 595-B and along line 3-4 by Lot No. 595-G (Road Lot), all of the subdivision plan; Beginning at a point marked œ1? on plan being S. 88 deg. 41' E., 1872.49 m. from BLLM 82, Cad-276, thence:

Containing an area of SIXTY SEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR (67,954) SQUARE METERS, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground as follows: all corners are G.S. cyl. Conc. Mons. 15 x 50 cm. Bearings true; date of original survey, April 1935 to July 1940 and that on the subdivision survey, May 28-31, 2003 executed by FNSP-J Chief of Party, Luisito A. Gacasan, and approved on October 10, 2003.

The DENR Secretary is hereby authorized to issue a Special Patent covering the area herein reserved for Davao Regional Hospital in the name of RP-DOH.
