AN ACT CONVERTING THE CENTRAL MINDANAO UNIVERSITY-BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT SCHOOL IN BARANGAY BALILA, MUNICIPALITY OF LANTAPAN, PROVINCE OF BUKIDNON, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE LANTAPAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The Central Mindanao University-Barangay Development School in Balila, Lantapan, Province of Bukidnon, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Lantapan National High School. The said school shall be under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports.
SEC. 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated from the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on August 5, 1997 and December 10, 1997, respectively.
