Pursuant to the pertinent provision of RA 7621 and Board Resolution No. 43-06 dated 23 June 2006 of the CPA Board of Commissioners, the following is hereby adopted as a clarification on the definition of special cargoes as referred to in CPA Administrative Order Nos. 04-99, and 02-2005, viz:

"Special cargoes cover all seized goods declared abandoned in favor of the government including those being sold at public auction."

Special cargoes are subject to storage charges equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the regular storage fees.
