TOTAL BAN ON THE BURNING OF RUBBER TIRES IN PUBLIC LOTS AND ROADWAYS
In the interest of public service and in order to prolong the useful life of asphalt and concrete roads, maintain free passage of vehicles on all thoroughfares and avoid air pollution caused by the burning of rubber tires and trash in the middle of the street during New Year celebration and other occasions with communal significance and festivities, a total ban on the burning of rubber tires/trash on all public lots and roadways is hereby declared, effective immediately.
To effectively implement the aforestated prohibition, all DPWH Regional Directors, District and City Engineers are hereby directed to coordinate with the local government units in their respective areas to implement this ban.
