PROHIBITION OF CUSTOMS PERSONNEL WHO ARE NOT IN CUSTOMS UNIFORM TO ENTER THE INTERNATIONAL PASSENGER TERMINAL, NINOY AQUINO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (NAIA)



Effective immediately, it is prohibited for any Customs personnel to enter the International Passenger Terminal, Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) if they are not in Customs uniform.

Customs uniform shall be as follows:

Customs Police
Customs Police Uniform
CIIS
White Barong with Customs Seal
Others
White Barong with Customs Seal or New Standard Suit for Passenger Service Personnel

This prohibition shall apply in all cases whether or not the Customs officer is on duty. The only exemptions from this prohibition are (1) when the Customs official is a departing or arriving passenger on the day that he is at the terminal. (2) A customs Intelligence operative who is on a specific mission to conduct covert surveillance operations within the terminal provided such operation within the terminal is covered by a Mission Order duly signed by the Service Chief concerned and copy furnished the Commissioner of Customs. For this purpose, it is prohibited to issue general or periodic mission orders. A mission order must be for a very specific purpose and not more than 72-hour duration.
