Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 18, series of 1993 which provides that all household workers bound for Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia shall attend pre-departure orientation seminar (PDOS) at POEA accredited non-government organization (NGOs), it is likewise provided that name hires of the Government Placement Branch bound to said destinations shall also be referred to the NGOs.

They shall pay the amount of thirty pesos (P30.00) as PDOS registration fee directly to the NGO.
