[ NTC (DTC) MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 5-2-93 s. 1993, February 22, 1993 ]
REVISED SCHEDULE OF RADIO OPERATOR S EXAMINATION FOR THE YEAR 1993
In adherence with existing radio laws and regulations and to bring service closer to the public it is hereby issued the revised schedule of examinations for radio operators certificates and permits of all classes to be given by the National Telecommunications Commission Radio Operators Examination Committee (ROEC) at the places and on the dates specified below:

Special Examinations
The following examinations shall be given every Wednesday starting January 1993 at the NTC Central Office:
1. Restricted Ship Radiotelephone Operator s Certificate
2. Restricted Aircraft Radiotelephone Operator s Certificate
3. Ship Low Power Radiotelephone Operator s Permit
4. General Operator s Certificate (INMARSAT and GMDSS Qualifying Examination for Deck Officers and Radio Operators)
5. First Class Radiotelegraph Code Removal.
Applications for the above weekly (every Wednesday) examinations must be filed on Friday preceeding the date of examination unless otherwise specified.
The herein scheduled examinations shall be conducted by the Radio Operators Examination Committee in accordance with the guidelines set forth in Department Order No. 80, series of 1971, and other instructions and guidelines pertaining to the conduct of examinations.
This circular amends Memorandum Circular No. 19-11-92 and shall be effective from 03 April 1993 to 31 December 1993 unless otherwise amended or superseded.
This circular shall take effect fifteen (15) days following its complete publication in a newspaper of general circulation and fifteen (15) days from the date of filing of three (3) certified copies with the University of the Philippines Law Center.
