The NITAQAT System also known as the job nationalization policy of Saudi Arabia is on its third phase of implementation. Under the system, all Saudi based private companies/employers employing more than 10 workers are classified into red, yellow, green and platinum, the basis of which is their compliance with the new Saudization requirements wherein companies/employers are required to employ a certain percentage of Saudi nationals in their workforce. In effect, RED and YELLOW companies/employers were given until 26 November 2011 and 23 February 2012 respectively, to comply with the Saudization requirements, otherwise, they will not be allowed to renew the work permits/Iqama of their foreign workers.

In this regard, all agencies deploying overseas Filipino workers, excluding Household Service Workers (HSWs), to Saudi Arabia are required to submit the following:

* Nitaqat classification of their registered/accredited foreign employers
* List of deployed OFWs except Household Service Workers still serving contracts with the above employers
* Report on transfer/terminations of deployed workers due to NITAQAT implementation
