The GTEB Secretariat has simplified the application for Textile Export Clearance and the amendment form to include only the information necessary for our monitoring purposes and to avoid the repetition on certain export details already indicated in the Export Declaration issued by agent banks.

In view of this, all Export Declarations to be filed with GTEB for the issuance of Textile Export Clearance, must contain all the information enumerated hereunder:

1. Shipment Details
   
   1.1     Shipment date
   
   1.2     Carrier vessel/airline/forwarder/agent
   
   1.3     Port of loading
   
   
2. Raw Materials Sourcing
   
   2..1    Local or Imported
   
   2.2     If imported - the corresponding IA or LSI and import entry number of materials used.

The simplified application for Textile Export Clearance and amendment forms shall be available on June 14, 1993.  Effective June 21, 1993 and thereafter only the simplified applications shall be accepted for processing of Textile Export Clearance and amendments.
