[ PHIC PHILHEALTH CIRCULAR NO. 37, S. 2002, October 07, 2002 ]
REQUIREMENT FOR RURAL HEALTH UNITS/HEALTH CENTERS ACCREDITED BY PHILHEALTH TO POST A PHILHEALTH ACCREDITED SIGNAGE
This is to enforce compliance to PhilHealth Circular No. 01, s. 2001 requiring all accredited health care facilities to put up conspicuous signs indicating that they are PhilHealth Accredited as provided for in Rule X Section 78 of the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of R.A. 7875 which states that:

"ALL ACCREDITED HEALTH CARE INSTITUTIONS SHALL LIKEWISE PUT UP CONSPICUOUS SIGNS INDICATING THAT THEY ARE PHILHEALTH ACCREDITED,OF THE SIZE AND DIMENSION AS THE CORPORATION MAY HEREAFTER DETERMINE. IT SHALL BE PLACED OUTSIDE THE FACILITY PREFERABLY BESIDE THE SPOT WHERE THE FACILITY NAME IS WRITTEN." (see Annex "A"* ).
This is to create awareness and encourage utilization of Out-Patient Benefit Package provided by PhilHealth to indigent members.
To this effect, attached is the required signage/sign board for immediate installation.
