For purposes of clarifying the requirements on application of hospitals in securing a Fire Safety Inspection Certificate regarding renewal of PhilHealth accreditation, the following guidelines are hereby issued:

1. Hospitals shall submit a Letter of Commitment addressed to the Accreditation Committee, who shall take action on the deficiencies noted by the Bureau of Fire Protection.
   
   
2. The Surveyors of the Accreditation Department shall monitor hospitals with Letters of Commitment.
   
   
3. The PhilHealth Accreditation Committee will deliberate the accredited hospitals without Fire Safety Inspection Certificates.
   
   
4. The accredited hospitals concerned will be informed within 15 days in writing of the final decision of the President and CEO.
