[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8795, June 27, 2000 ]
AN ACT NAMING THE 2ND MANDAUE-MACTAN BRIDGE IN THE PROVINCE OF CEBU AS THE MARCELO B. FERNAN BRIDGE
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The 2nd Mandaue-Mactan Bridge situated in the Province of Cebu is hereby named as the Marcelo B. Fernan Bridge.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representative was finally passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives on December 22, 2000 and May 29, 2000 respectively.
