Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled, and by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1. Section twenty-two hundred and sixty-three of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven, known as the Administrative Code, is hereby amended so as to read as follows: 

"SEC. 2263. Expense of equipment.—Each municipality shall, at its own expense, provide all necessary police equipment, including arms, uniforms, and insignia, and may also provide the arm, uniform, and insignia of the chief of police, in conformity with the specifications of the Chief of Constabulary."

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
