[ DENR MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2003-11, June 24, 2003 ]
CLARIFYING THE 1997 RULES FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE ADJUDICATION OF ILLEGAL FOREST PRODUCTS UNDER DENR ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 97-32
For the effective implementation of the rules for the administrative adjudication of illegal forest products pursuant to DENR Administrative Order No. 97-32, original shipping/transport documents shall be required at all times to accompany any forest products being moved or transported to any place and for any purpose.
Whenever the requisite shipping/transport documents are required to be shown but do not actually accompany the forest products, such absence constitutes a violation of the aforesaid rules and such forest products are deemed to be illegally sourced, thus, should be apprehended/seized in accordance with DENR Administrative Order No. 97-32.
All DENR field officers and other concerned are enjoined to comply with the provisions of this Circular and other rules and regulations governing the proper conduct and implementation of the rules for the administrative adjudication of illegal forest products.
This Circular shall take effect immediately.
Adopted: 24 June 2003
