DECLARING MTS. BANAHAW-SAN CRISTOBAL NATIONAL PARK SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF LUCBAN, TAYABAS, SARIAYA, CANDELARIA AND DOLORES, PROVINCE OF QUEZON, AND MUNICIPALITIES OF RIZAL, NAGCARLAN, LILIW, MAJAYJAY AND CITY OF SAN PABLO, PROVINCE OF LAGUNA AS PROTECTED AREA PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT 7586 (NIPAS ACT OF 1992) AND SHALL BE KNOWN AS MTS. BANAHAW-SAN CRISTOBAL PROTECTED LANDSCAPE
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to the powers vested upon me by law, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do [hereby set aside and declare Mts. Banahaw-San Cristobal National Park consisting of parcel of lands situated in the Municipalities of Lucban, Tayabas, Sariaya, Candelaria and Dolores, Province of Quezon, and the Municipalities of Rizal, Nagcarlan, Liliw, Majayjay and City of San Pablo, Province of Laguna, as protected area under the category of Protected Landscape subject to private rights and without prejudice to the rights of the indigenous people as provided for in RA No. 8371, DENR Administrative Order No. 93-02, and other related rules and regulations, if any there be, as described in DENR NIPAS Map No. RO-4A-4.
the point of beginning containing an area of TEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED EIGHTY-FOUR and 05/100 (10,784.05) Hectares.
the point of beginning containing an area of ONE HUNDRED SIXTEEN and 54/100 (116.54) Hectares.
The Mts. Banahaw-San Cristobal Protected Landscape shall cover a total land area of TEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED and 59/100 (10,900.59) hectares subject to future ground survey and delineation.
It shall be under the administrative jurisdiction of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and shall be managed in accordance with the provisions of the NIPAS Act.
