Reports have reached this Office that EWDs are not in accordance with the required specifications as provided for in Section 5 of Memo Circular No. 95-219 dated July 12, 1995. Some of them are either deficient in the required weight for stability which is 1.2 kilos or are made of inferior reflectorized material that cannot pass the 400 meter visibility test.

Please be reminded of our concern about road and public safety which is the primary reason in the re-implementation of these EWDs. Henceforth, all officials and employees concerned are hereby enjoined to strictly apply the provisions of MC NO. 95-219 prior registration of all motor vehicles.

Any official or employee of this Office who violates or condones the violation shall be dealt with administratively.
