This is a reminder to all movie producers and distributors of your duty to place not only the MTRCB seal in your movie layouts and also the rating or classification seal as well.

Section 8 of Presidential Decree No. 1986 clearly states that "the motion picture exhibitors . . . shall include in all their cinema advertisements announcements stating the classification . . . of the motion picture being exhibited or advertised."

In view of complaints received by the Board on the absence of the rating seal in movie advertisement layouts, please consider this a fair warning that the board will punish violations of this sort with suspension of the permit to exhibit of the movie in question in accordance with P.D. 1986.

Please be guided accordingly.
