Please be informed that at the July 27, 1993 Board Meeting of the MTRCB, new hours were set for the airing of General Patronage and Parental Guidance programs as follows:

General Patronage (GP) programs - from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Parental Guidance (PG) programs - from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

We have set back Parental Guidance programs by an hour as a concession to your primetime viewing hours. The Board, however, wants to strictly enforce the General Patronage rating during the 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. hours. Therefore, starting August 15, 1993, Parental Guidance programs to be aired at the wrong hours will be issued a permit good only for one month and non-renewable unless transferred to the correct time slot. Beginning November 1993, Parental Guidance programs at the wrong hours will no longer be given a permit.

May we reiterate that Adult (R-18) programs are not allowed on television.
