[ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 61, February 14, 2003 ]
DIRECTING THE NATIONAL HISTORICAL INSTITUTE TO ORGANIZE THE OBSERVANCE OF THE CENTENNIAL ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEATH OF APOLINARIO MABINI ON MAY 13, 2003
WHEREAS, May 13, 2003 marks the centennial anniversary of the death of Apolinario Mabini;
WHEREAS, there is a need to properly plan, implement and coordinate all programs and activities leading to the said celebration;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby direct the Chairman of the National Historical Institute to organize the observance of the centennial anniversary of the death of Apolinario Mabini on May 13, 2003.
The Department of Budget and Management is hereby authorized to release the amount of TWO MILLION PESOS (P2,000,000.00) from the CY 2003 Contingent Fund to defray the expenses for the year 2003 activities commemorating the heroism of Apolinario Mabini.
This Administrative Order shall take effect immediately.
Done in the City of Manila, this 14th day of Feb. in the year of Our Lord, two thousand and three.
