[ VRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 95-0008, May 29, 1995 ]

REQUIRED MINIMUM NUMBER OF VIDEOGRAMS IN THE INVENTORY OF VIDEOGRAM OUTLETS



Please be advised that the following Board Resolution No. 95-05-78 was approved by the Videogram Regulatory Board during its Regular Meeting on May 29, 1995 held at the Conference Room, 11th Floor Agustin I Building, Emerald Avenue, Pasig Metro Manila, to wit:

"RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, that to discourage the persistent partronization of illegal videograms by retail outlets, the following number of videograms in the inventory of videogram outlets is hereby required as minimum inventory before their application for licenses could be considered and issued by the Board, to wit:

1. For new applicants:

Laser Discs Shop 500 pieces of laser discs with VRB labels
   
Video Shop 500 pieces of copyrighted videotapes with VRB Rating Labels

2. For existing retail outlets with VRB license, having less than 500 pieces of videotapes with VRB rating labels or laser discs with VRB labels, are given a period of five (5) months from the date of publication of this Board Resolution to comply with the minimum requirement.

Videogram outlets who fail to comply with the minimum requirements of inventory, will not be issued licenses. For those previously issued licenses, may be subjected to closure or suspension of license upon failure to comply with the same."
