[ PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 731, June 06, 1975 ]

AMENDING THE TITLE AND SECTION FOUR OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NUMBERED SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY-THREE.

I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, in order to effect minor amendments to existing law and needed corrections of certain typographical errors therein, do hereby order and decree the following:

SECTION 1. The Title of Presidential Decree Numbered Seven Hundred Twenty-Three is hereby amended to read as follows:

"CREATING ADDITIONAL COURTS IN CERTAIN MUNICIPALITIES AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR."

SEC. 2. Section four of the same decree is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 4. To carry out the purposes and provisions of this decree for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976, the sum of One Million Six Hundred Thousand Pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for the purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Decree."

SEC. 3. This decree shall take effect immediately.
