[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6722, March 20, 1989 ]
AN ACT DECLARING APRIL TWENTY-FIVE A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF AKLAN
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. April Twenty-five of every year is hereby declared a special non-working holiday in the Province of Aklan to commemorate the creation of said province.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on October 21, 1988 and February 10, 1989, respectively.
