DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 2 SEPTEMBER 2015, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBAY



WHEREAS, Wednesday, 2 September 2015, marks the 150 th birth anniversary of the late General Simeon A. Ola, the last revolutionary general to surrender at the end of the Philippine-American War;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Albay be given full opportunity to participate and celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA, JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, do hereby declare Wednesday, 2 September 2015, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Albay.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
