[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6709, February 10, 1989 ]
AN ACT DECLARING NOVEMBER FIVE OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. November five of every year is hereby declared a special non-working holiday in the Province of Negros Occidental.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on September 22, 1988 and December 2, 1988, respectively.
