On September 03, 2012, the Board issued Memorandum Circular No. 2012-022 providing guidelines for the grant of Provisional Authority to applicants for Truck-for-Hire (TH) Service.

After scrutiny of the existing policies governing TH Service and taking into consideration the contribution of the TH operators in our economy, the Board hereby amends paragraph 4 of the said Circular by excluding the Comprehensive Insurance Coverage as one of the requirements for the grant of Provisional Authority.

All other issuances inconsistent herewith are deemed modified or superseded accordingly.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately following its publication in at least one newspaper of general circulation. Let three (3) copies hereof be filed with the UP Law Center pursuant to Presidential Memorandum Circular No. 11, dated 09 October 1992.
