DECLARING MONDAY, 5 SEPTEMBER 2016, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOS
WHEREAS, on Monday, 5 September 2016, of the City of General Santos marks the celebration of its 48th Charter Day and 18th Tuna Festival;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of General Santos be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 5 September 2016, as a special (non-working) day in the City of General Santos.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 10th day of August, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Sixteen.
