[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4483, June 19, 1965 ]

AN ACT CONSTITUTING THE FOURTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT OF THE PROVINCE OF LEYTE INTO A SEPARATE SCHOOL DIVISION.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The fourth representative district of the Province of Leyte shall constitute one separate school division.

SEC. 2. The superintendent of schools for the said division shall also be the ex-officio superintendent for Ormoc City who shall be appointed by the President of the Philippines with the consent of the Commission on Appointments, and shall have his office in said city.

SEC. 3. Such sums as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act are hereby appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-five. Thereafter, such sums as may be needed for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
