REFERENCE:

1. Philippine Civil Aviation Regulation (PCAR) Part 2 (Personnel Licensing).

The above PCAR provision is hereby amended to read to read as follows:

2.6.3.2 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: GENERAL

(a) An applicant for an AMS license and any associated rating shall

(6) For AMS Specialized Services ratings, be specially qualified to perform maintenance on aircraft or components thereof, appropriate to the job for which he/she was employed.
(7) For AMS Specialized Services ratings, be employed for a specific job requiring those special qualifications by a approved maintenance organization certificated under Part 6 allowed by its operating certificate and approved specific operating provisions to provide maintenance, preventive maintenance or modifications to aircraft; and
(8) For AMS Specialized Services ratings, be recommended by his employer, to the satisfaction of the Authority, as able to satisfactorily maintain aircraft or components, appropriate to the job for which he is employed;

EFFECTIVITY:

This Supplemental Regulation shall AMEND PCAR Part 2.6.3.2 (a) (6) to (8), and all orders and or memoranda in conflict herewith are hereby rescinded, amended, or modified accordingly. This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately after compliance with the requisite single publication in a newspaper of general circulation and a copy filed with the U.P. Law Center - Office of the National Administration Register (ONAR), UP Diliman, Quezon City.
