CREATING AN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE PLANNING AND EXECUTION OF COMMEMORATIVE ACTIVITIES FOR THE 32ND ANNIVERSARY OF THE FALL OF BATAAN AND THE FALL OF CORREGIDOR



WHEREAS, the Fall of Bataan and the Fall of Corregidor are historic milestone in our nationhood;

WHEREAS, it is deemed fitting and proper to commemorate these historic events with appropriate activities and/or ceremonies in order to impress our people as well as the rest of the world of the efforts and sacrifices of those who fought and died during the crucial struggle for freedom and democracy, and of the transcending significance of such struggle in our national undertakings and aspirations;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby constitute and create an Executive Committee to formulate plans and devise ways and means for the successful execution of appropriate activities and/or ceremonies for the commemoration of the 32nd anniversary of the Fall of Bataan and the Fall of Corregidor.
The Committee shall be composed of the following:
