[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9091, April 08, 2001 ]
AN ACT DECLARING EVERY 28TH DAY OF MAY AS ARAW NG LABANAN SA ALAPAN, A SPECIAL WORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF IMUS, CAVITE
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. May 28 of every year is hereby declared as Araw ng Labanan sa Alapan a special working public holiday in the Municipality of Imus, Cavite, in commemoration of the historic "Labanan sa Alapan."
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect immediately after its publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 6, 2001 and October 2, 2000, respectively.
