In connection with the employment of Filipino domestic helpers to Hongkong, Philippine Labor Attache to Hongkong has advised that effective 10 August 1990, the minimum salary of foreign domestic helpers bound to the colony is HK$3,000 from the previous minimum salary of HK$2,800.

Applications for processing of employment contracts attested by the Hongkong Labour Department before 10 August 1990 with a minimum salary of HK$2,800 can still be accepted after said date.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
