WHEREAS, the creation of the City Veterinary Code of San Juan is vital for the care, control and custody of animals including regulations for the distribution of livestock, poultry, aquatic and aquatic produce for consumer consumption, within the terriorial jurisdiction of San Juan City.

WHEREAS, in order to strengthen the implementation of the City Veterinary Code of San Juan (Ordinance No. 12-2009) and to further enforce its objectives, penalties for its violation require amendments.

NOW, THERFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of San Juan, Metro Manila in a session duly assembled that Section 27 Nuisance - should further state the following:

Section 27.2. Animal, includes dogs, cats, fighting cocks, monkeys, snakes, other birds, or any other animal creating disturbing noise or sounds and/or emit foul odors.

Section 27.3. Penalties

	First Offense	: Warning
	Second Offense	: One Thousand Pesos (P1,000.00) Fine; Five Hundred Pesos (P500.00) per head
	Third Offense	: Two Thousand Pesos (P2,000.00) Fine;
	Fourth Offense	: Three Thousand Pesos (P3,000.00) Fine and confiscation of animals

RESOLVED FINALLY, that this Ordinance shall take effect fifteen (15) days after publication in three (3) leading newspaper of general circulation.  And after posting for three (3) consecutive weeks in all conspicuous places within the City.
