[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 294, November 19, 1949 ]
EXTENDING THE PERIOD FOR THE RESTRICTED CARRYING OF FIREARMS UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 1949, INCLUSIVE.
In the interest of peace and order, I, Elpidio Quirino, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend until December 31, 1949, inclusive, the period during which private persons heretofore duly granted special permits or licenses to possess firearms are prohibited to carry said firearms outside their respective residences.
Executive Order No. 290, dated October 31, 1949, is hereby modified accordingly.
Done in the City of Manila, this nineteenth day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-nine, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the fourth.
