NEW APPLICATIONS FOR ACCREDITATION OF MANUFACTURER, ASSEMBLER, IMPORTER, REBUILDER AND DEALER OF MOTOR VEHICLES AND/OR ITS COMPONENTS
Pursuant to the implementation of Administrative Order No. AVT-2014-023 dated 23 January 2014 re: Revised Rules and Regulations on the Accreditation and Stock Reporting of Manufacturers, Assemblers, Importers, Rebuilders, Dealers and other Entities Authorized to Import Motor Vehicles and/or its Components, the new applications for accreditation of manufacturer, assembler, importer, rebuilder and dealer of motor vehicles and/or its components shall be filed with the Operations Division-Regional Office for initial evaluation and ocular inspection. Thereafter, the Regional Director shall recommend the approval/ disapproval of the accreditation to the Assistant Secretary through Operations Division-Central Office. Payment for application fee shall be collected by the Collection Unit of the Regional Office upon filing of the applicants while the accreditation fee shall be paid at Collection Unit of LTO Central Office upon approval of the Certificate of Accreditation.
