The second paragraph of Executive Order No. 24, dated November 12, 1946, as amended by Executive Order No. 86 dated September 3, 1947, is hereby further amended to read as follows:

œNow, therefore, I, Elpidio Quirino, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create a body to be known as the. National Advisory Health Council to study problems of public health and sanitation and to, make such recommendations as it may deem necessary for the improvement of public health and sanitation and the promotion of medical research. The Council shall be composed of the following:

The Secretary of Health	Chairman
The Undersecretary of Health	Vice-Chairman
The Director of Health	Member
The Director of Quarantine	Member
The Director of Public Schools	Member
The Dean, College of Medicine , UP	Member
The Dean, College of Medicine , UST	Member
The Dean, College of Medicine , MCU	Member
The Chairman, Board of Medical Examiners	Member
The Chairman, Board of Dental Examiners	Member
The President, Philippine Medical Association	Member
The President, Philippine Public Health Association	Member
The President, Philippine Federation of Private Medical Practitioners	Member
The President, Philippine Pharmaceutical Association	Member
The President, League of District and City Health Officers	Member
The President, Filipino Nurses Association	Member

The members of the Council shall serve without Compensation and their term shall be co-terminous with their tenure in their regular positions. 
