[ PROCLAMATION NO. 33, January 29, 1946 ]

RESERVING FOR SETTLEMENT PURPOSES TWO PARCELS OF LAND SITUATED IN THE PROVINCES OF ORIENTAL NEGROS AND OCCIDENTAL NEGROS, ISLAND OF NEGROS.



Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, National Land Settlement Administration and pursuant to the provisions of section 83 of Commonwealth Act No. 141, I, SERGIO OSME A, President of the Philippines, do hereby reserve for settlement purposes, under the administration of the National Land Settlement Administration, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to future classification and survey, and to the conditions that the timber and other forest products therein, as well as the use and occupancy of the area indicated as timber land or forest reserve, shall be placed under the administration and control of the Bureau of Forestry in accordance with the Forest Law and Regulations, two parcels of the public domain situated in the provinces of Oriental Negros and Occidental Negros, Island of Negros, to wit:

PARCEL I
"A strip of land seven thousand (7,000) meters on each side of Dancalan, Ilog, Negros Occidental, to Tolong, Negros Oriental National Highway between Km. Post 104 on Kabankalan side and Km. Post 139 on Tolong side, with a distance along the road of about 56 kilometers and 14 kilometers wide. Containing an area of approximately 78,400 hectares."
PARCEL II
"A strip of land seven thousand (7,000) meters on each side of the proposed interprovincial road from Kabankalan Negros Occidental, to Bais, Negros Oriental, with a distance of about 60 kilometers. Containing an area of approximately 84,000 hectares."
Containing a total area of approximately 162,000 hectares, more or less.
There are hereby excluded from the operation of this proclamation the parcels of land comprised within Public Land Subdivision Surveys numbered Seventy (70), Seventy extension (70-Ext.), One Hundred Forty-Three (143), One Hundred Forty-six (146), One Hundred Forty-six Extension (146-Ext.), and One Hundred Forty-seven (147).

Note. - (This is subject to change to conform with future survey.)
