DECLARING MONDAY, APRIL 22, 1946, A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY



WHEREAS, the twenty-first and twenty-third days of April, nineteen hundred and forty-six, are public holidays;

WHEREAS, it is believed that it would be for the best interests of the general public and of the banking and business houses to declare the twenty-second day of April, nineteen hundred and forty-six, as a special public holiday;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SERGIO OSME A, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority in me vested by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, and there being sufficient reasons therefor, do hereby proclaim Monday, April twenty-second, nineteen hundred and forty-six, as a special public holiday.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed. Done at the City of Manila, this 17th day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-six, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the eleventh.
