FIXING CEILING PRICES OF COMMODITIES, AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBERED THREE HUNDRED AND FORTY-TWO, EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBERED FOUR HUNDRED AND FORTY SEVEN, EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBERED FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTY-THREE, EXECUTIVE ORDER NUMBERED FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
By virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 3 of Republic Act No. 509, entitled AN ACT DECLARING NATIONAL POLICY, AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES FOR A LIMITED PERIOD TO FIX CEILING PRICES OF COMMODITIES AND TO PROMULGATE RULES AND REGULATIONS REGARDING PRICES OF COMMODITIES TO EFFECTUATE SUCH POLICY, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF A CERTAIN SUM FOR THE PURPOSE, and upon the recommendation of the Price Administration Board, I, ELPIDIO QUIRINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:
SECTION 1. The following essential commodities shall not be sold at more than the maximum selling prices for importers, wholesalers and retailers set opposite each:
FOODSTUFFS (IMPORTED)
SEC. 3. Section one Executive Order No. 447, dated June 9, 1951, and Sections one and three of Executive Order No. 464, dated August 21, 1951, are hereby amending by eliminating therefrom the ceiling prices of Cheese, being a non-essential item under the Import Control Law.
SEC. 4. The ceiling prices fixed in this Order include for Roasted Ground Coffee the 17% Special Excide Tax on Foreign Exchange, 7% Sales Tax and 1% Municipal Tax and for Corned Beef the 7% Sales Tax and 1% Municipal Tax.
SEC. 5. This Order shall take effect immediately.
Done in the City of Manila, this 12th day of September, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-two, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the seventh.

Section one Executive Order No. 342 dated August 14, 1950, as amended by Executive Order No. 463, dated August 11, 1951, is hereby further amended by transferring the province of Zambales from the list of provinces under zone 1 to the list of provinces under Zone S in view of its distance and the high cost of transportation and handling charges from Manila to said province.Commodity
