Upon recommendation of the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and in view of the continuing inclement weather brought about by Typhoon "Gorio," work in government offices and classes in public schools at all levels in the National Capital Region, are hereby suspended effective 1:00 PM today, 27 July 2017.

However, those agencies whose functions involve in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services, shall continue with their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work for private companies, offices and school is left to the discretion of their respective head.

This Circular shall take effect immediately.
