RULES IN THE RE-STAMPING OF NEW VISA IMPRINTS IN THE PASSPORTS OF FOREIGNERS GRANTED RESIDENCY STATUS UNDER REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7919, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE ALIEN SOCIAL INTEGRATED ACT OF 1995 , AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8247

In order to establish the accurate census of active foreign nationals granted residency status under Republic Act (RA) No. 7919, as amended by Republic Act (RA) No. 8247, the following Rules are hereby promulgated to govern the restamping of the new visa imprints in the passports of foreigners granted residency status under the said Act, thus:
Section 1. Re-stamping of the New RA No. 7919 Visa Imprints. - Foreigners granted residency status under RA No. 7919, as amended by RA No. 8247, with old RA 7919 visa imprints stamped in their valid passport or other travel document shall report to the Bureau of Immigration (BI) RA No. 7919 Unit, BI Main Office, Intramuros, City of Manila, for the re-stamping of the new RA No. 7919 visa imprint in their valid passports or other travel documents.
Section 2. Proofs of RA No. 7919 Status; Authentication. - As proof of R.A. No. 7919 status, the foreigners covered under Section 1 shall submit their: (a) valid passport or other travel document with previously-stamped RA No. 7919 old visa imprint; and (b) valid Alien Certificate Registration Identity Card (ACR ICard). Within forty-eight (48) hours from receipt thereof, the RA no. 7919 Unit and Alien Registration Division (ARD) shall verify and confirm its authenticity and genuineness.
Section 3. Compliance Period. - The period of compliance shall commence on 15 September 2014 and end on 15 December 2014 unless extended by the Commissioner.
Section 4. Sanctions. - Any violation or non-compliance of this Order may result in the: (a) deactivation and cancellation of ACR I-Card; (b) imposition of fines and penalties; (c) referral to the Intelligence Division and Legal Division for investigation and institution of deportation proceedings; (d) non-issuance of Emigration Clearance Certificate (ECC); and/or (e) denial of arrival/departure clearances.
Section 5. Reportorial Requirement. - The RA No. 7919 Unit shall submit a Weekly Compliance Report to the Commissioner, Legal Division and ARD.
Section 6. Publication. - This order shall be published once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation and shall be posted in the Bureau s Official Website.
Section 7. Repealing Clause. - All previous issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed and/or modified accordingly.
Section 8. Effectivity. - This Order shall take effect immediately after publication.
