[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 347, February 02, 1989 ]
FURTHER AMENDING SECTION 2(A-1) OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 308, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING FOR THE REORGANIZATION OF THE REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCILS .
WHEREAS, to give local government units greater participation in the deliberations of the Regional Development Councils to make it more effective, thee is a need to expand its membership;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:
SECTION 1. Section 2(a-i) of Executive Order No. 308, as amended, providing for the reorganization of the Regional Development Councils is hereby further amended to read as follows:
DONE in the City of Manila, this 2nd day of February, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-nine.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:
SECTION 1. Section 2(a-i) of Executive Order No. 308, as amended, providing for the reorganization of the Regional Development Councils is hereby further amended to read as follows:
(i) All provincial Governors and Mayors of chartered cities; Mayors of municipalities designated as Provincial Capitals of the provinces where there are no chartered cities; Presidents of the Provincial League of Mayors and Mayors of the regional center in each region; SEC. 2. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
