[ ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 266, April 17, 1996 ]

CREATING AN AD HOC COMMITTEE TO INVESTIGATE THE ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLAINT FILED AGAINST LAND REGISTRATION AUTHORITY (LRA) ADMINISTRATOR REYNALDO MAULIT AND SPECIAL DEPUTY REGISTRAR MELANY VICTORIA OF THE REGISTRY OF DEEDS OF CAVITE



There is hereby created, an ad hoc Investigating Committee to investigate the administrative complaint against presidential appointee LRA Administrator Reynaldo Y. Maulit and non-presidential appointee Special Deputy Registrar Melany Victoria of the Registry of Deeds of Cavite, referred to this Office by the Department Of Justice on 28 March 1996.

The Investigating Committee shall be composed of the following:

The Investigating Committee shall follow the procedure prescribed under Section 38 to 40 of the Civil Service Law (PD 807). The investigation of the administrative complaint shall be terminated by the Investigating Committee within ninety (90) day from the start thereof.

The Investigating Committee shall, within (20) days after receipt of the last pleading and evidence, if any, in case the respondents do not elect formal investigation; or after the expiration of the period within which to submit the same; or after the termination of the formal investigation; or after the parties have submitted their respective memoranda, if so allowed; forward to the Disciplining Authority the entire records of the case, together with its findings and recommendations; as well as the draft decision for approval of the President.

This Administrative Order shall take effect immediately.
